Originally Pennsylvania Station, at 30th & Market streets, named for the railroad that built the terminal between 1927 and 1933; erected on railroad land that was formerly the Philadelphia Stockyards; today officially William H. Gray III 30th Street Station, a major Amtrak facility also serving SEPTA.
